Denise Michelle Hanes, 62, of South Webster, passed away Wednesday April 30, 2025, at her residence. She was born December 24, 1962.

She was a vendor at the Flea Market and enjoyed her many friends and customers. They were like family to her, and she really enjoyed being around them.  She also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family who she loved very much.

Denise is survived by her mother and step-dad, Robert "Bob" and Mamie Stambaugh; a daughter, Taren (Luke) Dixon, son, Andrew "Drew" (Emily)  Billingsley; grandchildren, Walker and Drake Dixon, Millie Billingsley; a brother Brian (Marilyn) Hanes, a step-sister, Tammi Stambaugh, nieces, Brianne (Auston) Kennedy, Caitlyn (Alek) Blevins and Grandniece, Mia Kennedy.

She was preceded in death by her father, William "Bill" Hanes; paternal grandparents, Alva and Mary Hanes; maternal grandparents, Bruce and Maud Harrison.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday May 4, 2025 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with Pastor Merit Smith officiating. Private interment will be at a later date at South Webster Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 PM prior to services on Sunday at the funeral home.
