Dennis Mollett, 70, of Lucasville, passed away Thursday December 19, 2024 at Adena Medical Center. He was born December 23, 1953 in Martin County, KY., a son of the late Rev. Edgar and Neary Maynard Mollett.

He was a life long farmer who enjoyed working on cars, fishing and just tinkering on things. Most of all he loved being around his grandchildren.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Pollett Mollett; four daughters, Neary Grace Mollett (Kenneth Canterbury) of Lucasville, Anna Louise Mollett Wheeler (Dennis Stamper) and Charlene (Chester) Barnett all of Franklin Furnace, Alice Mollett Wheeler(Bill Carver) of Lucasville; two brothers, Delbert Mollett ( Tracie Hendrickson) of Franklin Furnace and Marvin (Betty) Mollett of Oak Hill; three sisters, Ilene Baker of Powellsville, Lillie (Kelby) Flowers of Pocatello, Idaho and Maggie (Henry) Burkett of Minford; 8 grandchildren, Kayden, Kannon, Timmy, Eva, Mary, Miranda, Ashley and Nikkey along with 16 great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald and Shirley Ray Mollett .

Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Monday December 23, 2024 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in Wheelersburg with burial to follow at Mollett Family Cemetery. Visitation will be 12 Noon to 2:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
