Dennis was a US Air Force veteran stationed in Germany where he served as a radio operator. He was fluent in Russian and German and was a graduate of Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY. He worked for many years at USS Chemicals and Aristech in Haverhill, OH. Dennis enjoyed spending time in the southwestern United States, most notably traveling to visit with his children. He was particularly fond of the mountains in southwest Colorado and New Mexico. He liked to spend time visiting Monument Valley near the Four Corners region of the Colorado Plateau. He also loved to hike the Grand Canyon with his brother Larry. Closer to home, he enjoyed fishing, searching for Indian artifacts, going out to eat dinner with his wife, playing euchre, cooking jambalaya, sitting in his garage, and spending time with family. He never met a stranger and enjoyed a conversation with anyone who was willing. And he always won at Jeopardy. His soul and spirit are now free to travel the earth. He was a great man and he will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
