Dewey L. Ferrell, 73 of Wheelersburg died Sun. Aug. 26, 2012 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born June 30, 1939 in Scioto County a son of the late James and Arlena Boggs Ferrell. He was a former Vernon Township employee. Left to mourn his passing are his brothers, Wilford (Joy) Ferrell of Wheelersburg, Fred (Ethel) Ferrell of Sciotoville, Ralph (Mildred) Ferrell of Wheelersburg, Troy (Lola) Ferrell of South Webster, Clifford (Christine) Ferrell of Minford, Floyd (Pam) Ferrell and Danny Ferrell of Wheelersburg and a number of nieces, nephews and his caregiver, Stephanie Craft. He was also preceded in death by 4 brothers, Harold, Willie, John and Glen Ferrell; 2 sisters, Maude Armstrong and Ester Ferrell. Services will be 2 PM Tues. Aug. 28, 2012 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with Clyde Willis officiating. Visitation will be Tues. 12 noon to 2 PM. at the funeral home . Private interment at a later date.
