Age 82 of Millersburg, PA formerly of Wheelerburg, passed away on February 8, 2017 at Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg, PA. He was born in Minford on August 5, 1934 to Joseph and Myrtle (Potts) Montgomery and was an HVAC installer by profession. Donald attended Glenwood High School in New Boston and spent 24 years serving his country in the Army and Air Force. He was a member of the VFW, the American Legion, and in his spare time enjoyed camping and mowing grass.

Donald is survived by two sons, Donnie (Michelle) Montgomery of Millersburg, PA and Michael Montgomery of Columbus; three brothers, Alfred Montgomery of Lima, Robey Montgomery of Lima, and Dale Montgomery of Toledo; three sisters, Phyllis Sexton of Huntington, WV, Barbara Blanton of New Boston, Kay Gatwood of Warner, OK; four grandchildren, Andrew (Kim) Montgomery, Erica Montgomery, Heather Montgomery and Brooke Montgomery; one great-grandchild, Lilly Montgomery. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty in 2007; brother, Galen and Willard Montgomery; sister Deborah Montgomery.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 13, 2017 at WOLFE-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in Sciotoville. Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg with military rites provided by the James Dickey Post #23, American Legion.
