Donald W. Osborne, age 76, of Portsmouth, died Monday, February 22, 2010 at Heartland of Portsmouth. He was born August 8, 1933 in Portsmouth to John F. And Nancy (Cole) Osborne. Donald was an asphalt paver with the city of Portsmouth for 40 years. He was preceded in death by his companion of 30 years, Catherine Salyers, who died February 4, 2009, parents, four brothers and one sister. He is survived by one daughter Julie Osborne of Portsmouth, two grandchildren, Melissa Conn and Ryan Conn; one sister, Mertie Ratliff of South Shore, KY. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday February 25, 2010 at the Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park In Wheelersburg. Friends may call Wednesday from 4 - 7 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville is handling the arrangements
