Age 84, of Wheelersburg, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Concord Health and Rehabilitation Center in Wheelersburg. He was born in Portsmouth on February 4, 1930 to Raymond and Bricel (Winebrenner) Schafer. "Donnie" was a joyous spirit who will be missed by all.

Donald is survived by his brother-in-law, Wells Basham; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Vera Bowman and Esther Eloise "Weezie" Basham.
