Donald R. Williams, 53, of Wheelersburg passed away November 22, 2021 in Louisville, KY. He was born November 4, 1968 in Portsmouth. He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Karen Williams.
Donnie spent the rest of his life "Searching for answers to questions that bothered him so".  Donnie was a writer, a poet, thrill seeker and memory maker that chose to live out the lyrics of his musical heroes, Jimmy Buffett and Merle Haggard.
To the family and friends affected by his poor decisions while he battled his addictions, please know the regret of those decisions weighed upon him until the end. He loved all of you.
He passed away with just over 2 years sobriety. Per his wishes, the body will be cremated and a private service may be held in the future.
The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Sierras Haven.
