Doretha Faye Branham Pruitt (Dee), 96, of Westlake, Ohio went to her heavenly home on July 30, 2022.

She was born February 17, 1926, was a graduate of East High School and Portsmouth Business College. Dee worked full time as a bookkeeper and secretary until her marriage in 1948.

Dee was an accomplished pianist and organist serving numerous churches.

She is survived by her children, James (Linda) Pruitt and Jocelyn (Michael) Kennedy; 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Pruitt, a daughter Janette Pruitt Bobot, parents Riley and Hila Branham and 3 siblings.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday August 6, 2022 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in Wheelersburg. Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park. Visitation will be 10 to 11 am Saturday at the funeral home.
