Dorothy Basham, 79, of South Webster passed away Tuesday Oct. 14, 2014 at Southern Ohio Medical Centers emergency room. She was born November 8, 1934 in Jackson, a daughter of the late Howard and Marcella Leach May. She was a member of the Pinkerman South Webster Community Church and the Farm Bureau. She is survived by four sons, John, Rick, Joe and Paul Basham; one daughter, Linda Crabtree; two brothers, Jerry and Calvin May; many grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and a special friend, Ilene Carmichael. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Frank Basham, 2 brothers, Carlos and Gerald Miller, a sister, JoAnn Pettit and 2 grandsons, Ricky Basham and Daniel Basham. Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday Oct. 18, 2014 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN SOUTH WEBSTER with Pastor Fred Bales officiating. Interment will be at South Webster cemetery.
