Age 74, of Portsmouth, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at SOMC in Portsmouth. He was born in Zanesville, Ohio on October 25, 1939 to Joseph W. and Jean (Sharp) Smith. He was a business owner in Portsmouth, owning Stockham Ice Company from 1965 - 1984 and Sunset and Rainbow Bowling Lanes from 1977 to the present.

Douglas is survived by his five children and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
