Age 56, of Wheelersburg, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2011 at SOMC Hospice. Bub was a 1973 graduate of East High School, an Army veteran, and an over-the road trucker by profession. He is survived by his mother, Faye Ashley, of Wheelersburg; wife, Sandra "Weasel" Ashley of Wheelersburg; 3 children, Misty Richmond of Beaver, Joe Colley of Wheelersburg, Stephanie Colley of Wheelersburg; one sister, Sue Trimble of Oak Hill; 4 grandchildren, Noah Colley, Zachary Colley, Christian McCune, Reece Richmond. Bub was preceded in death by his father, Roy Ashley. Visitation will be at Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville on Thursday, October 13th from 4 - 7 p.m. with the funeral service immediately following at 7:00 p.m., Pastor Vicki Bays officiating. Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 14th at Vernon Cemetery with honors provided by James Dickey Post 23 of Portsmouth.
