Eddie E. Scott, 52, of South Webster passed away Tuesday February 1, 2022, at home. He was born June 4, 1969, in Sherman, TX, a son of Charles Scott and Sue Ann (Wheeler) Scott. He was a 1986 graduate of Wheelersburg High School and a 1990 graduate of Ohio University.

Eddie attended The Rock Church, was a Financial Advisor, a former teacher at South Webster and Huntington Ross High Schools. He was also a former Administrator at South Point and Portsmouth High Schools.

He enjoyed playing golf, coaching, watching the Bengals and most of all going to his childrens' sporting events.

Eddie was preceded in death by his father-in-law Larry Cayton; his Nana Fern Wheeler; and two great aunts Hazel Berkley and Lucille Curnette.

He is survived by his wife, LeAnne Cayton Scott; a son, Connor Scott and his wife Chelsea (Beegan) of Circleville, and granddaughter Palmer Lynn Scott; a daughter, Brooklynn Scott of Canfield; a sister, Jeanne Jackson and husband Mark of Nevada; mother-in-law, Patty Cayton of South Webster; brothers-in-law, Steve Cayton and wife Lisa of Spartanburg, SC; Scott Cayton and wife Gretchen of McDermott; aunt and uncle Sherry and Jim Johnson of Texas; nieces and nephews, Kyle (Bethany) Cayton, Kara Cayton, Rawley Jackson, Zoe Jackson, Grant Cayton and Gavin Cayton; great-nieces Meryn and Isla Jo Cayton.

Visitation will be Saturday February 5 ^th from 5 to 8 PM and 1 to 2 PM Sunday, February 6 ^th at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in South Webster. Funeral services will  held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in South Webster  with Pastor Rick Clark officiating. Interment will follow at South Webster Cemetery.
