Edward Glenn Collins, 73, of Portsmouth (North Moreland), died Tues., April 28, 2009 at Kings Daughters Medical Center. He was born Nov. 30, 1935 in Lyra to the late Lewis and Rachel Lewis Collins. He was a former Security and Prison guard. He is survived by his wife, Delores Rudd Collins; one son, David (Suzette) Collins of Portsmouth; two daughters, Teresa (Billy) Harris of Portsmouth and Lisa Vereen of West Virginia; two sisters, Mary Craft of Portsmouth and Betty Tackett of West Virginia; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a son, Edward Collins Jr. and a brother, Merle collins. There will be a cremation with no services. Arrangements being handled by D.W.
