Edward Harwood Hughes, 80, of Wheelersburg, died, Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Best Care. He was born December 21, 1930 in South Webster, a son of the late Richard and Linnie Crace Hughes. Edward is survived by a son, Gerald Hughes of Columbus; a daughter, Linnie Cattell of Minford; one brother, Donald Hughes of South Webster; two sisters, Nancy Brightbill of Mt. Airy, NC and Barbara Jenkins of Eifort; two granchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Loraine Hughes; a daughter, Angela Hughes; two brothers, Ray and Dale Hughes; and two sisters, Mary Ann Hughes and Betty Cipriano. Graveside services will be 1pm Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at South Webster Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 11am to 1pm at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in South Webster.
