Age 30 of Portsmouth, passed away suddenly on July 8, 2015 at Southern Ohio Medical Center emergency room. He was born May 10, 1985 in Ashland, KY. He was a member of Sunshine Church of Christ, was a Physical Therapy Assistant at SOMC, did student teaching, and loved mission work.

Tyler is survived by his wife, Katie Holliday Jones; parents, Terese Jones of South Webster, Edward (Kristie) Jones of Wheelersburg; a sister, Jordan Jones of South Webster; grandparents, Linda and Roger Swan of Sugar Grove, OH, Ed and GeorgeAnn Jones of Clarksburg, WV; in-laws, David and Lisa Holliday of Paw Pa, WV; aunts, Tammy Crabtree and Lisa Wiley; several cousins and loving step-family. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald R. Murray and grandmother, Emma Jean Moore.

There will be a Celebration of Life at 10:30 a.m. Saturday July 11, 2015 at Sunshine Church of Christ in Minford with Pastor Jamie Riley officiating.
