Emma Willis

Age 85 of Florence, KY, formerly of Portsmouth, died Sunday, September 20, 2020 in Florence. She was born March 14, 1935 in Crab Orchard, KY. She graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1952. Emma worked for twenty years in the lunch room for the Boone County Kentucky School District along with coaching girls softball there for several years. She loved gardening and could grow anything. She was also a great cook, a Reds and U.K. fan.

She is survived by three sons, Michael Willis, Jimmy Willis, and Tony Willis, all of Florence, KY; one sister, Margie Bishop of Stanford, KY; two grandchildren, Aaron and Ashley Willis.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 25, 2020 at WOLFE-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in Sciotoville. Interment will follow in Old Wheelersburg Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 – 11 Friday at the funeral home.
