Age 35 of Portsmouth passed away May 3, 2017. He was born June 28, 1981 in Portsmouth a son of Cindy Pitts Baer of Portsmouth and the late John Charles. Eric was a welder and formerly worked at JAK Telemarketing and Giovanni's Pizza. He loved his tattoos, cooking, collecting Hot Wheels, and working with Habitat for Humanity in California.

In addition to his mother Cindy, he is also survived by a sister, Marie Collins and husband Gene; his fiancée, Krystal Hall and her children, Alekay Bailey and Kameron Bailey; a niece and nephew, Elisa and Eugene Collins.

A gathering of family and friends will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday May 10, 2017 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in New Boston. Private interment will follow. Condolences may be sent to www.dwswicknelsonfuneralhome.com.
