Ethel Helen Moore, 86 of Franklin Furnace went to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 05, 2015 at Best Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wheelersburg. Ethel was born December 4, 1928 in Wheelersburg to the late George and Anna Rosetta Morrison. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Arthur Moore, Jr., whom she married on September 24, 1948. Ethel was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and mushroom hunting. She was a member of the Green Township Volunteer Fire Departments Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by two sons, George (Brenda) Moore and James (Deborah) Moore of Franklin Furnace; four grandchildren, Alison (Michael) Sampson of Miamisburg, Jason (Krista) Moore of Cincinnati, Heath (Lauri) Moore of Springboro, Courtney (Josh) Waginger of Ironton; eleven great-grandchildren; a brother, Willard (Yuvona) Morrison of Wheelersburg; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy Thomas, Lucy Caldwell, and Marie Morrison; and four brothers, James Morrison, Fred Morrison, Charles Morrison and Oscar Morrison.

Services will be held Monday, March 9, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Swick-Bussa-Chamberlin Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Carl Beck officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace. Friends may call at the funeral home, Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour before the service on Monday.
