Ethel Thacker, 83, of Minford died Saturday Sept. 29, 2012 at home. She was born Jan. 19, 1929 in Pike Co., KY. a daughter of the late Joe and Oma Mullins Baker Maynard. She is survived by two sons, Roger Lee Thacker of Williamson, W.VA. and Larry Joe Thacker of Minford; a daughter, Regina Whitt of Minford; 3 brothers, Sam Baker of Minford, Joe Baker Jr. of Wheelersburg and Buck Baker of Pike Co., KY.; 2 half brothers, Hi Maynard of Sciotoville and Bobby Maynard of Feds Creek, KY. a sister, Loretta Holsinger of Minford,5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Thacker, a son, Fred Spriggs and a infant daughter, Patricia Ann Thacker and a sister, Flora Reed. Services will be 2 PM Wed. Oct. 3, 2012 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN SOUTH WEBSTER with Pastor Rick Mollett officiating. Interment will be at White's cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 6 to 8 PM and Wed. 1 to 2 PM at D.W.
