Age 83 of South Webster, formerly of San Antonio, TX, passed away Friday October 16, 2015 at Crystal Care Center in Portsmouth, OH. She was born March 31, 1932 in Asherton, TX, a daughter of the late Jose Garcia and Maria Martinez Garcia.

She is survived by her daughter, Maria (David) Swick of South Webster; son, Richard Gomez of San Antonio; 2 step-brothers, Raul (Ita) Garcia and Noe (Delores) Garcia, both of San Antonio; 3 step-sisters, Ofelia (Richard) Quesada, Maria "Nena" Pereida, and Amalia Lopez, all of San Antonio, TX; 3 grandchildren, David Swick III of Columbus, OH, Jessica Swick of Wilmore, KY, Miranda Carpenter of VIrginia Beach, VA; and 1 great-grandchild, Mia Carpenter.

Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday October 20, 2015 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with Peter Michael officiating. There will be a private interment on Wednesday at Junior Furnace Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 5 to 7 p.m. at D.W. Swick-Nelson in South Webster.
