Age 52 of Portsmouth passed away Thursday June 1, 2017 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born November 16, 1964 in Portsmouth, a daughter of Brenda (Mershon) Sowards and the late Ronnie Wells. She was a homemaker, collected dolls, and loved music.

Besides her mother, she is survived by three sons, James Butcher and Billy Butcher both of West Portsmouth, and Timmy Walker of Portsmouth; four brothers, Ronnie Wells of Portsmouth, Wally Wells of San Antonio, TX, Eddie Otworth of Sandusky, and Andy Otworth of Chillicothe; four sisters, Rhonda Fowler of Portsmouth, Brenda Burchett of Minford, Billie Wells of Portsmouth, Michelle Mershon of West Portsmouth; and two grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, Gary Walker and a brother, Mark Wells.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday June 4, 2017 at D.W.SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with interment to follow at Loper Cemetery in Kentucky. Visitation will be Sunday 1 to 2 p.m at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to www.DWSwickNelsonFuneralHome.com.
