Evelyn Lochbaum, 90 of South Webster, softly stepped into Heaven on December 31, 2008. She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on July 29, 1918 to Charles and Inez (Cox) Newman. She was a former longtime resident of New Boston, a devout Christian and a devoted wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Charles, Robert and John Newman; her beloved husband, Herald D. Lochbaum whom she married in 1935 and her son, Herald (Don) Lochbaum Jr. Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Karen (Ralph) Litteral of South Webster, her daughter-in-love, Linda Lochbaum of State College, PA., seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.A private celebration of Evelyn's life will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Sarasota Memorial Park, Sarasota, Florida. The familys favorite charities are the South Webster Fire Department and Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund.
