Evelyn "Sis" (Hagen) McCoy, beloved wife of Vinton H. McCoy went home to be with her Lord on Thursday Nov. 7, 2013 at the age of 97. Loving mother of Arnold (Wanda) McCoy, devoted grandmother of Michael (Cathy), Mitchel (Jeanette) and Matthew (Cindy), proud great-grandmother of Abigail, Sydney, Katie Faith, Adam and Aaron; and cherished aunt of many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents Grace and Edward, she was preceded in death by brothers, Earl, Floyd, Paul, Edward Jr. and Herman. Evelyn was a lifelong resident of South Webster and touched the lives of many with her love, generosity and kindness. A member of Christ United Methodist Church, she had a special gift of Card Ministry. Evelyn enjoyed spending time with family and friends; especially going out to eat with her sister-in-law Betty Hagen and visits with her niece Joy Harner. The family would like to thank Best Care and caregivers Beverly Raynard and Velvet Patterson. A celebration of Evelyn's life will take place on Monday Nov. 11, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Christ United Methodist Church with the Rev. Sam Peters and Rev. Tom Charles officiating. Burial will be in the South Webster cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday Nov. 10, 2013 from 4 to 7 PM at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN SOUTH WEBSTER and one hour prior to services Monday at the church.
