Age 77 of Wheelersburg, passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth.  He was born August 21, 1940 in South Webster to Jerry and Zolena (Arthurs) McGlone.  Everett drove a truck for many years for his father.  He enjoyed drag racing in his younger days and loved dirt track racing.  He liked to keep his vehicles clean inside and out, and was a sports fan, especially of football.  He loved all children and attended Scioto Furnace Pentecostal Church.

He is survived by his brothers, Scott (Beverly) McGlone of Wheelersburg, Clarence (Mary) McGlone of South Webster, Lawrence McGlone of Lima, OH; sisters, Wanda (James) Taulbee of Wheelersburg and Susan Myers.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Charlie, Frank, and Dave McGlone; sister, Mary McGlone in infancy.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 6, 2018 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with Pastor Dean Kuhn officiating.  Interment will follow at South Webster Cemetery.  Friends may call on Thursday from 5 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service.  Online condolences may be shared at www.DWSwickNelsonFuneralHome.com.
