Everett Paul Sapp, 92, of Wheelersburg, passed away Monday, November 24, 2025, at SOMC Hospice Center. He was born June 20, 1933, in Stricklett, KY, a son of the late Leslie and Florence Thurman Sapp.

Paul was a former employee of Empire Detroit Steel, where he was very active in the Union. He loved working on cars, air conditioning and anything that needed fixed. Paul was a lifelong member of the New Boston Eagles and enjoyed bowling.

Paul is survived by a son, Tim Sapp (Cathy Wamsley) and daughter, Nancy Smith (Delmar Scowden) all of Wheelersburg; 8 grandchildren, Megan, Mallory, Jessica, Adam, Travis, Austin, Alex and Amelia along with 14 great grandchildren.

Besides his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sommer Sapp, whom he married in 1954, daughters, Sally Bickett and Susan Riggs along with a grandson Chad Sapp.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Friday, November 28, 2025, at the D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in Wheelersburg. Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to services at the funeral home.
