Flora R. Cooley, 75 of Sciotoville passed away Wednesday Sept. 2, 2015 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was a daughter of the late John 'Doc' Mowery and Minnie Boggs Mowery. Flora was a member of the Highland Bend Pentecostal Church, loved baking, flowers, and going to Flea markets.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Cooley; one son, Anthony Cooley of Sciotoville; two daughters, Sharon Cooley Lore and Robert Leal and Tammy Cooley Lake all of Sciotoville; five sisters, Mary Snider of Sciotoville, Helen Hilton of Portsmouth, Ruth Sheers of Cleveland, Sue Morris of Georgia, and Kay Horsley of Wheelersburg; 9 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by 4 brothers, Hobert, Herbert, John, and Jim Mowery; and two sisters, Loreen Ward and Eddie Smith.
