Age 62, of Eden Park, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at his home. He was born on December 6, 1951 in Portsmouth to Gerald and Emma (Webb) Daniels. Gary worked for Norfolk Southern Railroad for 25 years, retiring in 2002. He was fond of fishing, shuffleboard, and socializing with his friends. He was, above all, a wicked Cleveland Browns fan.

He is survived by one daughter, Angela Martin of Portsmouth; three grandchildren, Gary Michael Monroe of Morehead, KY, Josey and Hayleigh Barnhart of Portsmouth; one brother, Rick Daniels (Diane) of Minford; one sister, Edna Sloane of Portsmouth; many nieces and nephews; and all his special friends at Frankenstein's and the Stag Bar. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be at WOLFE-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in Sciotoville on Monday, September 29, 2014 from 10 - 11 a.m. After a brief prayer service at 11:00, interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace.
