Gary Wayne "Slick" Stringer Sr., 61, of Minford, died Saturday April 27, 2013 at Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. He was born April 2, 1952, in Fayette Co., West Virginia.,a son of the late Paul Stringer and Nellie Mae Pauley Stringer. Gary is survived by one son Gary Stringer, Jr. of Minford, one daughter Brandy Basham (Joe), of South Webster, two sisters Gay Spradlin of Sciotodale, Judy McClintic of Wheelersburg, one brother Charles Stringer of Wheelersburg and three grandchildren Derrick Stringer, Elizabeth Hobbs and Beau Hobbs. He was also proceeded in death by his wife Debra Finn Stringer in 2004, and infant twin sons Jonnie Edward Stringer and Lonnie Ray Stringer and several Brothers and Sisters. Servces will be Thursday May 2, 2013 at 11:00 am at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL IN SOUTH WEBSTER with Pastor Mark Bales officiating. Burial will be at Clapboard Cemetery in Wheelerburg.
