George W. Roof, 65 of South Webster died Wed. April 27, 2011 at Southern Ohio Medical Centers emergency room. He was born Oct. 1, 1945 at New globe, a son of the late Charles and Selma Pyles Roof and was a lifelong farmer. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Rawlins Roof; 3 daughters, Melisha Roof, Bethany Roof and Sharon Charles all of South Webster; a brother, James Roof of Wheelersburg; 2 sisters, Anna Roof and Mary Lou Henry of Wheelersburg; 2 grandchildren, David F. Charles and Katelyn Roof; Nephew, John Henry; neices, Cinda Henry and Ashley, Nancy Henry and Jonathan. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Emma Roof and 2 brothers, Harold and Charles Roof. Services will be 2 PM Sun. May 1, 2011 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in South Webster with burial at Vernon cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday 6 to 8 PM and Sunday 1 to 2 PM at D.W.
