Age 62 of Wheelersburg, passed away June 7, 2016 at SOMC in Portsmouth.  He was born in Portsmouth on February 16, 1954 to Orville and Verla (Howard) Adams.  Professionally, he was a retired pipefitter out of Local 521 out of Huntington, WV.  He enjoyed farming, horses, and most of all spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Debbi (Elliott) Adams; father, Orville Adams of South Webster; one son, Geoffrey Adams of Wheelersburg; two daughters, Tracy Collins (Doug) of Wheelersburg, Erica Adams (Dean Hall) of Wheelersburg; three grandchildren, Tyler Collins, Will Collins, Jett Adams; two sisters, Freda McNelly (Doug) of Wheelersburg, Della Parsons (Roger) of Marion; numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Verla Adams and his brother, Tim Adams.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. on June 11, 2016 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with Pastor Calvin Ray Evans officiating.  Interment will follow in Vernon Cemetery.  Friends may call Friday from 5 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour before the service.  Online condolences may be left at www.DWSwickNelsonFuneralHome.com.
