Age 57 of Sciotoville, went to be with the Lord on Christmas Day, 2015. He was born on May 31, 1958 in Portsmouth to Mary (Justice) Semones and Darrell Semones. He was a carpenter by trade and was a member of the New Boston Eagles and the Franklin Furnace Independent Baptist Church.

Jerry is survived by two daughters, Jeri Lyn Justice of Panama City Beach, FL, Jenna Verchota (Chris) of Springfield, TN; two grandchildren, Bentley and Brooklyn Jade Verchota; eight brothers, Don (Shelly) Justice of Sciotoville, Steve Justice of Sciotodale, Jeff (Charlene) Justice of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Dude (Brenda) Semones of Sciotoville, Randy (Kimberly) Semones of Wheelersburg, Bruce (Deedra) Semones of Athens, Darrell Semones of Sciotoville, and Mike (Betty) Semones of Franklin Furnace. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at WOLFE-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in Sciotoville with Pastor Kenny Estep officiating. Interment will follow at Horeb Cemetery in Oak Hill.
