Age 91, formerly of Wheelersburg, OH, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2015 in Savannah, TN. She was born in a small community just outside of Charleston, WV to Adolph (Doc) and Bertha Steed. Geri worked as quality control inspector with Wilson's Sporting Goods and later with the Selby Shoe Company in Portsmouth. She was very involved with her church and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and spending time with shut-ins.

She is survived by her sons, Glen Lambert, of Savannah, TN; one sister, Carol McNeil of Sciotoville; grandsons, Todd Lambert of Savannah, Scott Lambert of Ravenswood, WV; seven great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and twenty-two nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her parents, Doc and Bertha Steed; brothers John, Curtis, and Gary Steed; sisters Etta Bradford, Jackie Keeton.
