Age 67, of Otway, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth. He was born in Portsmouth on April 2, 1947 to Charles and Daisy (Means) Eichenlaub. A barge worker by profession, Duke enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting.

He is survived by three children, Tammy Eichenlaub, Sabrina Eichenlaub, and Charles Eichenlaub; two brothers, Alex Eichenlaub of Harrison, OH and Robert Eichenlaub (Debbie) of Cincinnati; two sisters, Helen Stiltner (Don) of Wheelersburg and Bessie Evans of Otway; several grandchildren; many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Homer Davis and William Eichenlaub, and one sister, Oma Stiltner.
