Age 87 of South Webster, went home to be with the Lord July 18, 2016 at Best Care in Wheelersburg.  He was born August 11, 1928 in Greenup County, KY to James and Mintie (Newsom) Crum.  He was a life-long dairy farmer along with his family and enjoyed working in the garden.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Mae Stollings Crum; half-brother, Matt Crum; two brothers, Kessie and Estle Crum; and a sister, Rosa Crum.  He is survived by three brothers, Ralph (Alice) Crum and Francis (Judy) Crum, both of South Webster, Sterling (Nina) Crum, Sr. of Ashland, KY; sister-in-law, Mary Tom Crum of Grayson, KY; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday July 21, 2016 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with Rev. Robert "Toby" Todd officiating.  Interment will follow in Brant-Crum Cemetery on the Crum farm on Bloom Furnace Road in South Webster.  Friends may call Wednesday from 5 – 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.  Online condolences may be sent to www.DWSwickNelsonFuneralHome.com.
