Age 69 of Wheelersburg, passed away January 28, 2018 at Kings Daughters in Ashland, KY. He was born August 21, 1948 in Wheelersburg to Harlan and Carmen (Warnock) Terry, Sr. Harlan was a Union pipefitter by profession and a member of Local 577 Portsmouth, OH, was a member of the Wheelersburg Masonic Lodge, and attended Bonser Run Christian Baptist Church. In his spare time he enjoyed bench rest gun shooting and archery.

Harlan is survived by his wife, Joanie Terry; sons, Christopher (Caroline) Terry of Sciotoville, Shawn (Kristina) Terry of West Portsmouth, and Timothy (Rena) Terry of Wheelersburg; sisters, Berneda Wolfe of Wheelersburg and Martina Lauro of Portsmouth; stepdaughter, Rachel Colley of South Portsmouth; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Sandra; his stepson, Richard Beckwith; and a sister, Sharon McCoy.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in Wheelersburg with Pastor Danny Deck officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour before the service on Thursday.
