Harold D. Hall, 85, of Portsmouth died Thurs., Feb. 17, 2011 at Heartland of Portsmouth. He was born Sept. 3, 1925, a son of the late Hiram and Grace Cooley Hall. He was a retired electrician and served with the U.S. Navy CB's during WW II, served in Okanawa and the South Pacific Theater. He is survived by his wife, Marilee Hall of California; a son, Starrteen Hall of Washington; a daughter, Suzi Hall of California; 2 brother, Robert Hall of Texas and Hiram Hall Jr. of Portsmouth; 2 sisters, Josephine Days of Portsmouth , Lucille Durham of Toledo; 3 grandchildren, Shane, Alex and Hailee and a neice, Carolyn Applegate of Portsmouth. Graveside services will be 3 PM Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011 at McKendree cemetery with arrangements by D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston.
