Age 95 of Wheelersburg, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016. She was born October 2, 1921 in Oil Springs, KY to Roy and Florence (Wireman) Coldiron. Hazel was a 1939 graduate of Minford High School and worked for 20 years as a bookkeeper for Everett Williams Furniture Store, retiring in the early 90's. She was a devoted, lifetime member of Union Freewill Baptist Church, involved in the church women's group, and in her spare time enjoyed embroidery and jigsaw puzzles.
Hazel is survived by one daughter, Carolyn (Homer) Campbell of Wheelersburg; one son, Gary (Shannon) Coriell of Wheelersburg; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Cecil Coriell and Albert Carver; two brothers, Virgil and Burleigh Coldiron.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2016 at WOLFE-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in Sciotoville with Pastor Chris Oiler officiating.
