Helen B. Allen, 75, of Sciotoville, passed away Monday June 10, 2024. She was born February 19, 1949 in Waverly, a daughter of the late William and Irene (Wilson) Brown.

She was a former teacher with the Portsmouth City Schools. She loved playing the Chello, baking and spending time with her family.

Helen is survived by a son, Brian Allen and wife Ginette of Louisville, KY; two brothers, William (Chip) Brown and wife Pat of Florida, Eric Brown and wife Tina of Sciotoville; three grandchildren, Riley, Delaney and Cade along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews who loved her dearly.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday July 13, 2024 with visitation one hour prior to service.

Arrangements are being handled by the D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME (Wolfe-Nelson Chapel) in Sciotoville.
