Obituary

Age 82 of Wheelersburg passed away on Friday, November 3, 2017 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth. She was born on December 13, 1934 in Letitta, KY to the late William and Rachel Smith Wagner. Bonnie was a 1953 graduate of McKell High School and the Portsmouth Business College. She was owner/operator of Bob's Suburban Heating and Cooling along with her husband, Robert E. Grashel, whom she married December 9, 1955 and who preceded her in death on March 11, 1990.

Bonnie is survived by her five children, Timothy and Donita Grashel of Wheelersburg, Kathy and Jerry Gampp of Portsmouth, Marvin and Mary Grashel of Winchester, KY, Michael Grashel of Circleville, Terry and Laryssa Grashel of Wheelersburg; her grandchildren, Rachel and Jeb Coriell, Derek and Brittany Gampp, Chad Grashel, Ryan and Brooke Grashel, Brittany and Adam Trimble, Adam Grashel, Sarah and Max Dunn, Aaron Grashel, Mollyanna Grashel, Sawyer Grashel, and Lucy Grashel; her great-grandsons, Tate and Talen Coriell.

She is also survived by her sister, Margaret Cooper of South Shore, KY; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Dominic Crumbacher (he considered her his Mamaw), Marilyn Clary, Barbara Riddle, Regina White, and Barbara Zornes; very dearest neighbors, Greg and Cathy Dunham. She is also survived by her companion dog, Wynee. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Shawn Jeremy Gampp; her brothers, Paul, Aaron, and James Wagner; and her sisters, Juneda "Jude" Otworth, Aroma Foster, and Ada Mae Looney.

As a family, we would like to express our gratitude to Dr. Jeffrey Hill and his staff for all their loving care and compassion as well as the wonderful staff of the SOMC Hospice and SOMC Cancer Centers.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at WOLFE-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in Sciotoville with special friend, Chaplain Jason Coriell officiating. Interment will follow at South Webster Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 5 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour before the service on Tuesday.
