Born on February 27, 1944, in Paintsville, Kentucky, Herbert lived a life marked by commitment, hard work, and devotion to those he held dear.

Throughout his career, Herbert served with distinction at the Auburn City Water Department in Indiana, where he contributed many years of service before retiring. His professional journey was characterized by a strong work ethic and a steadfast dedication to providing essential services that supported his community’s wellbeing.

Herbert’s life was equally enriched by the love and companionship of his wife, Tammy Larter, who survives him. Their bond was a testament to enduring partnership and mutual respect.
