Irene Fields Williams, 90, of Rubyville died Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009 at home. She was born Aug. 25, 1919 in Lucasville a daughter of the late Joseph Edwin and Cora Luster Fields. She was a former waitress and of the Baptist Faith.She is survived by 5 daughters, Helen Lore, Sandra Moore, Susanne Walburn, Debbie Yeager and Karen Stone; 2 sons, Roy Lee Williams and Carl E. Williams; 2 sisters, Jessie Wicker and Betty Lou Nance and a brother, Ralph Fields ; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her 1st husband, George Williams in 1973, a son, George Edwin Williams, 2 sisters, Charlotte Williams and Evelyn McCain; 6 brothers, Conrad Fields and Roscoe Fields, Russell Fields, Paul Fields, Edwin Fields and Raymond Fields.. Services will be 2 PM Mon. Sept. 28, 2009 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with Peter Michael officiating. Burial will be at Hager Cemetery.
