Age 58 of South Webster, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016 as the result of a motorcycle accident.  He was born January 27, 1958 in Dayton to the late George and Delores (Hellard) Medve.  Jack was an Army veteran and worked professionally at Osco Industries as an Iron Pourer.  In his spare time he enjoyed hunting big game, mountain climbing, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Patti; two sons, Davey Bowen of Germany, Kirt Lewis Medve of LA; two daughters, Jenifer Medve of Portsmouth and Felley Medve of South Webster; three brothers, George (Mary) Medve of Medway, Rodney Medve of Lafayette, Guy Medve of Dayton; three sisters, Joann George of Beaver Creek, Nancy (Rick) Beilarz of Huber Heights, Jill Justice of Medway; fourteen grandchildren.  The family is also mourning the death of his son, Devin Young.

A memorial service will be held 5:00 p.m. Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Bloom Vernon Elementary School in South Webster.  Friends may call from 3 – 5 p.m. before the service.  Online condolences may be left at www.DWSwickNelsonFuneralHome.com.  D.W.
