James Anthony Montgomery, 67, of Minford passed away Tuesday February 23, 2021 at his residence. He was born January 1, 1954 in Portsmouth a son of Charles Montgomery Sr. and Frances (Born) Montgomery of Minford.
His favorite thing to do was watching Les Feldick on TV. He also loved fishing, camping and going on family vacations.
James is also survived by his wife, Juanita (Smith) Montgomery; two daughters, April McBee and husband Shawn of Stockdale, Misty Scalf and husband Teddy of McDermott; three brothers, Randy Montgomery, Mark Montgomery and Mike Montgomery; four sisters, Margaret Brown, Mary Etterling, Debbie Horner and Sandy Montgomery; five grandchildren, Ethan, Gabriel, Abram, Aubrie and Elizabeth and several cousins including a special cousin Danny Montgomery. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cassandra Leah Montgmery and brothers,, Charles and Dave Montgomery.
Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday February 25, 2021 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with Pastor Terry McBee officiating. Interment will follow at Pinkerman Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 12 Noon to 2 PM at the funeral Home.
