Age 59 of Sciotoville, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at SOMC in Portsmouth. He was born on July 17, 1954 in Portsmouth to L.D. and Dorothy (Slye) Allard. He was a 1972 graduate of East High School in Sciotoville and currently worked for the Scioto County Recorder's Office. Paul was a big sports fan, rooting for the Bengals, Buckeyes, and Reds. He took pride in cutting his own grass and more than anything loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Price) Allard; one son, Lyle (fiancé Tarra Greer) Allard of Sciotoville; two daughters, April (Todd) Pendleton of Minford, Beth (special friend Terrell Coleman) of New Boston; six grandchildren; one brother, Mark (Debbie) Allard of Wheelersburg; and his special dog, "The Dude". In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a sister, Marla, in infancy.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 17, 2014 at Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville with Pastor Joe VanMeter officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 - 7 p.m. and one hour before the service on Friday.
