Jane Ellen (Call) Gee, beloved wife, Mom, Nana, and sister went to live with Jesus on Friday, August 07, 2026. Jane was born in Portsmouth, OH on January 11, 1942, to the late James Edgar and lda Bernice Martin Call (1919-1943). After her mother's death, Jane was adopted by her maternal grandparents, the late Charles L. and lda May Martin. Jane was a 1960 graduate of East High School and a 1962 graduate of Southern Ohio Business College. She held a few jobs, but her greatest accomplishments were being a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and volunteer to support the interests of her family (Valley Local Schools, Lucasville Emmanuel Church; where she was a member, Relay for Life, lndian Valley Swim Club, etc.).

Jane was preceded in death in 1943 by a baby sister. Sue Ann Call. and in 1994 by a brother, Sam McCall, of South Padre lsland, TX.

ln addition to her loving husband David, Jane is survived by two daughters, Lisa (Tim) Shephard and Amy (Joe) Kayser and their families. Lisa and Tim's daughters are Marissa (CJ) McCormick (Natalie, Monica, Anthony, and baby McCormick {due January 2027}) and Brianna (Cullen) Harris (William and Juliet). Amy and Joe's children are Jordan (Doug) Williams (Maxinnus, Arabella, and Charli), JP (Adrianna) Kayser, Miranda (Tyler) Jackson (Oliver Ray Jackson {due January 2027}), and Ragen (Nate Hinze) Kayser (Adeline, Elliot, and Emmett). She is also survived by a sister, Teresa (Lou) Von Woglom of Houston, TX; a brother, James McCall, of Bandera, TX; and numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral Service will be Thursday August 13, 2026, 7:00 PM at D.W. Swick & Son Funeral and Cremation Services in Sciotoville, Tim Shepard and Mike Musser officiating. Visitation will begin at 4:00 PM until the Service time. Committal Service is Friday, August 14, 2026, 11:00 AM, Edgewood Abbey Mausoleum at Memorial Burial Park. 

Please don't feel the need to wear somber clothing to this celebration of Jane's lite. She loved her white capris, shirts with "bling", and colors, especially blue, teal, pink, and purple.
