Janet Faye Dyer Robinson, 67, of South Webster, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2026, at the Ross Heart Institute in Columbus, Ohio. Born November 07, 1958, in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of Elza and Marjorie (Conley) Dyer.

A lifelong resident of South Webster, and a 1976 graduate of South Webster High School, Janet was a woman known for her incredible strength, determination, and fierce work ethic. Throughout her life, she faced challenges head-on, and she approached her battle with heart failure with the same courage and resolve that had always been a part of who she was. 

Janet was deeply giving and spent much of her life caring for the people around her. She had a generous heart and found meaning in helping others and making sure those she loved were taken care of. Her family was at the center of her life, and the love she gave so freely will remain with them for years to come.

Janet also had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. She especially enjoyed tending to her garden and spent many years preserving the fruits of her labor through canning. These simple, meaningful things brought her joy and reflected the hardworking, self-sufficient woman she was.

Janet's legacy is one of strength, kindness, hard work, and unconditional love. She will be remembered not only for all she did for others, but for the warmth and lasting impression she left on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Elza and Marjorie Dyer, and her brother, Tony Dale Dyer.

She leaves behind her loving family, including her two daughters, Christine Poling (Scott Preston) of South Webster and Anna (Dave) Jenkins of Franklin Furnace; her beloved grandchildren, Delaney and Danielle Poling; and her three brothers, Curtis Dyer, Sammy Dyer, and Tommy (Tammy) Dyer, all of South Webster. She is also survived by many cherished nieces, great-nieces, nephews, and many special friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Dr. Kahwash and the entire cardiac care team at The Ohio State University's Ross Heart Institute for the exceptional, dedicated, and compassionate care they provided to Janet and her family.

Funeral Service will be Monday, September 28, 2026, 5:00 PM at D.W. Swick & Son Funeral and Cremation Services in South Webster with Shannon Compton officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until the service time.
