Jason Ben Edward Craft, 54, of Portsmouth passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022 at SOMC.  He was born May 20, 1967 in Portsmouth to Monty Craft and Rita (Holbrook) Dyer.  Jason was of the Apostolic faith, he enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles.  He also enjoyed playing pull tab tickets and bingo.  Jason really loved cats, he rescued strays and took care of them whenever he could.

Jason is survived by his father, Monty Craft and wife Wanda of Portsmouth; step-father, Earl Dyer of Franklin Furnace; wife, Lisa Craft of Portsmouth; special friend of many years, Heather Fitch of Portsmouth; one daughter, Jessica Bender of Portsmouth; four step-daughters, Nicole Woodrow, Natasha Pyles, Ashley Pyles, and Alicia Pyles all of Portsmouth; two sisters, Monica Pratt and husband Frank of West Portsmouth, and Shellie Cottrell and husband Timothy Sr. of Portsmouth; several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 7, 2022 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace under the direction of D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME (WOLFE-NELSON CHAPEL) in Sciotoville with Pastor Jack Fannin officiating. Online condolences may be left at DWSwickFuneralHome.com.
