Age 55, of Wheelersburg, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019. She was born July 8, 1963 to James and Tess (Krings) Lechner. Jayne was a devoted wife and companion to her husband, Steve, whom she married July 4, 1998.

Left to remember her love are her loving husband, Steve; a son, Michael (Bryan Vallandingham) Kline, of Portsmouth; two daughters, Shannon (Jason) Gregory, of Colorado Springs, CO, and Kayla (Chris) Kenard, of Sidney, OH; her mother, Tess, of Durand, WI; three sisters, Jeana (Larry) Burch, of Huntingtown, MD, Jodi (Tad) Bauer, of Durand, WI, and Lynn (Mark) Lockhart, of Kettering, OH; one granddaughter, Ava Gregory; five grandsons, Cash Gregory, Ty, Kody, Konner, and Kaden Kenard; and eight nieces and nephews. Jayne was preceded in death by her father, James; her grandparents, Gale and Bonnie Krings; and a son, Matthew Kline.

Jayne enriched the lives of everyone she came in contact with; her smile and laughter filled every room. Her grandchildren meant the world to her and she cherished every minute with them.

A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at WOLFE-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in Sciotoville with the Rev. Ed Myers officiating. The family will greet friends one hour before the service. Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help offset funeral expenses.
