Jeannie Riddlebarger, 88, of Rosemount went to be with Jesus on December 6, 2020 at her son's home surrounded by family. Jeannie, daughter of Clarence and Biance Riddlebarger spent her childhood on Riddlebarger Road with a brother, Howard and sisters, Rozella, Thelma, Ruth and Donna, working the Riddlebarger farm. She was a 1950 graduate of Valley High School. Jeannie married Henry Martin, and had two children, Rick (Terri) Martin of Rosemount and Julie (Terry) Colley of Lehigh Acres FL; three grandchildren, Eric (Elizabeth) Martin of Hilliard, Andrea Martin of Lexington, NC, Samantha Colley of Lehigh Acres, FL.; one great grandchild, Cian Martin of Hilliard. Henry preceded Jeannie in death in 1999. Jeannie married Jess Sims and they lived in Lehigh Acres, FL Jess passed away in 2019. Jeannie was a devout believer in Jesus Christ and had a life-long passion for singing and as a child sang at her family church in Clarktown, OH, and as a young woman sang in the Singing Star Trio. She was also the director of the Harvest Chapel Singers Choir. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lehigh Acres, FL where she was a praise team member, trustee, and member of the choir. Jeannie was a hard-dedicated worker at Sears and Roebuck Co., and a very successful real estate broker and salesperson. Her life was dedicated to family, helping others and pointing us to live for Jesus. Jeannie's request was there be no public service for now. A private family service and burial will be conducted at the family's convenience by the D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in Wheelersburg. Due to COVID-19 a celebration of her life will be held for all at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation to SOMC Hospice for the wonderful job they did for us, would be appreciated.
